Here are the best ways to block porn sites on your computer without any software:
1. Block Porn Websites By Editing Hosts File
Before going into the how to guide, let me tell you what is hosts file and how it works:
According to Wikipedia, "The hosts file is a computer file used by an operating system to map host names to IP addresses."
That is, the host file is the one that your computer uses before it scans external DNS servers for identifying the ip address of a domain name . Yes, the hosts file is your local dns!
Lets start blocking....
How To Block Porn Sites:
First locate your host file...If you are using windows, go to C > windows > System32 > Drivers > etc.
If you are using Mac, open Finder and, in Finders menu bar, select Go > Go to Folder. In the box, type the following location and press Return.
/private/etc/hosts
Then copy the file named "hosts" to your desktop. Now you can edit the host file.
Double click on the hosts file and then select notepad, and click "OK"
Then enter domain names of porn websites along with your local hosts ip address.
That is,
127.0.0.1 www.porn-website-name.com127.0.0.1 www.domain-name-of-porn-site.com..............................................................................................................................................................

After adding the websites to the hosts file, save the file. Then move the file to C > windows > System32 > Drivers > etc (replace the existing file).
Now, whenever you try to access porn websites, you will be redirected to an error page:

2. Block Porn Websites Using DNS Services
Yes, you can block porn websites using DNS services. Here is how to do it:
- Using OpenDNS:
First, go to http://www.opendns.com/home-solutions/parental-controls/
Then create a free account by entering your information...
After creating the account, Open "network and sharing center" in windows and then click on the "connections". Below window appears:
Then click on "Properties"...... select "Internet Protocol version 4(TCP/IPv4)" and then click on "properties" button. Below window appears:
Change the ip address of "Preferred DNS server" to 208.67.222.222 and then change "Alternate DNS server" to 208.67.220.220. Then click "OK".
If you are using Mac computer, click on your "Apple" menu and choose "System Preferences".
Then Double-Click on the "Network" icon.....
Go to the "TCP/IP" tab. If your computer is configured to use a dynamic IP address, (notice "Using DHCP" in the drop-down box next to "Configure"). This is where you can change your DNS settings, by entering the appropriate DNS servers in the "DNS Servers" box.
Enter DNS server addresses.
Apply your settings by clicking the "Apply Now" button.

If you are using Mac computer, click on your "Apple" menu and choose "System Preferences".
Then Double-Click on the "Network" icon.....
Go to the "TCP/IP" tab. If your computer is configured to use a dynamic IP address, (notice "Using DHCP" in the drop-down box next to "Configure"). This is where you can change your DNS settings, by entering the appropriate DNS servers in the "DNS Servers" box.

Enter a name for the network and then click on "Done" button.
Then click on your IP address :
You will be directed to the settings of your network:
Select "low" and click on the "Apply" button to block pornography.
We recommend you to select the "Moderate" filtering level for better security.

Today, you are going to see the best way to securely wipe sensitive data from your computer:
You may ask "why secure wiping, deleting is not enough?"
Actually deleting is not enough, simply deleting doesnt completely remove the data or file from the memory, and it can be recovered very easily. Secure wiping is the only way to delete files permanently from the memory.
Do you want to know what happens when you delete a file? It is actually pretty simple, the operating system marks the sectors containing the data as "unused", so that the file appears to be gone from the memory, thats all.
REMEMBER: The file isnt really gone until that same space is overwritten by something else.
So if you want to delete files permanently from your computer, follow this guide:

1. Download and install Eraser on your computer.

2. Open the Eraser application, you will see a window as shown below.

3. Click on the "Settings" and then change the "Default file erasure method" to "Pseudorandom Data (1 pass)".
Most of you might ask, "why you are not using the default erase method?"
The default erase method "Gutmann (35 passes)" is no longer useful, because most of the patterns in the Gutmann method were designed for older MFM/RLL encoded disks. And, writing a series of 35 patterns is not necessary to make the data unrecoverable, a single pass with random data will do the job.
4. Now save the settings and then you can close the application.
5. Right click on the file(s) you want to erase, and then select Eraser > Erase ( see the image below).
6. An alert window will pop up, click on "Yes" -- the deletion process will start. If you want to see the progress, just click on the Eraser tray icon.

Today you are going to see the best ways to find IP address of a remote computer.
Before going into the how-to-guide, take a look at "what is an IP address" (Trust me, no boring stuff, only facts):
IP address is an address of a device connected to an internet protocol network. It is just like your home address, but it is usually represented in dot-decimal notation (example: 208.199.134.23).
Two main functions of IP address: Host or network interface identification and location addressing.
Now lets look at the ways to find the IP address of a remote computer:

- Using PHP notification script.
Lets jump into the first method,
#1 Using a Blog
Do you have a blog? If not, create one immediately, because now Im going to show you how to find the IP address of a remote computer using a blog. Here is a step by step guide on how to do it:
(In this tutorial, Im using Googles free blogging service "Blogger".)
1. Go to www.web-stat.com. You will see a page as shown below.

2. Click on "Get It For Free". You will be directed to a page like this:
3. Enter your email address in the box and then click on "Continue & Install". Then login to your email account and then open the confirmation email from web-stat. In the email you will see a link named "Get Tracking Code", click on it. You will see a page as shown below.
4. Select "I know how to edit my website and copy/paste HTML code on my pages". A tracking code will appear (see the image below).
5. Copy the standard code and then login to your blogger account. Then go to "Layout", and then click on "Add a gadget". You will see a small window like this:
6. Click on "HTML/JavaScript" and then paste the tracking code in the content box. Then save it.
7. Then visit your blog and then find the below image.
8. Click on the image. You will be directed to the web-stat (see the image below).
9. Click on "MY STATS". You will see a page as shown below.
10. Click on "DETAIL VISITORS". You will see the details of recent visitors there (see the image below).
11. Send your blog link to the target. When he/she visit the blog, their IP address and location will be displayed in the recent visitors page.
Moving onto technique #2....

1. Download Php Notification Script.rar (MediaFire Link).
2. Extract the rar file. You will see two files named "ip.php" and "ip_log.txt" there.
3. Go to Gbfreehosting. Then click on "Get Started Now". You will see a page as shown in the image below:
4. Enter email address, name, password in the form and then click on the "SignUp" button. You will see a message (see the image below).
5. Login to your email account and then click on the activation link. You will see a page like this:
6. Click on "Select", then create an account (see the image below).
7. Wait for few minutes, then reload the current page (see the image below).
8. Click on "Switch". You will see the control panel:
9. Click on the "File Manager" and then install the File Manager. You will see a window like this:
10. Right-click on the white area and then select "Upload Files". Then select "ip.php" and "ip_log.txt" and then click on "Open". Then close the popup window.
11. Add "ip.php" after the domain name. For example, http://mydomainname.hoxty.com/ip.php.
12. Send this link to the target. When they visit the site, their IP address will be recorded on the "ip_log.txt" file. To see the recorded IP address of the target, add "ip_log.txt" after the homepage URL. For example, http://mydomainname.hoxty.com/ip_log.txt.
